WhatsApp Integration

COD Rocket integrates with the WhatsApp Cloud API to let you send and receive WhatsApp messages directly from your dashboard. Send order confirmations, delivery updates, and have real-time conversations with customers.

Setting up WhatsApp

  1. Go to Tools > WhatsApp > Account.
  2. Enter your WhatsApp Cloud API credentials:
  • Phone Number ID โ€” From your Meta Business dashboard.
  • Business Account ID โ€” Your WhatsApp Business Account ID.
  • Access Token โ€” Your permanent or temporary API token.
  • Phone Number โ€” Your WhatsApp business phone number.
  • Display Name โ€” Your business display name (optional).
  1. Click Save.
  2. COD Rocket generates a Webhook URL and Webhook Secret automatically.
  3. Go to your Meta Developer Dashboard and configure the webhook:
  • Paste the Webhook URL provided by COD Rocket.
  • Enter the Webhook Secret as the verification token.
  • Subscribe to messages webhook field.

What you can do after setup

  • Send messages to customers from the WhatsApp Inbox.
  • Receive messages from customers in real-time.
  • Send template messages (pre-approved by WhatsApp).

  • Create orders directly from WhatsApp conversations.

Important: You need a Meta Business account and an approved WhatsApp Business profile. WhatsApp Cloud API has its own messaging costs from Meta.

Templates are pre-approved by WhatsApp and can be sent anytime. Free-form messages can only be sent within 24 hours of the customer's last message.
